The Tank case for iPhone 4 and 4S is Case-Mate's first attempt at making a splash proof, dust proof, and shock proof case. And after testing the case, we beleive they have lived up to the task, keeping aside a couple of minus points. The case is made of hard plastic from outside, and has soft silicon on the inside to give your iPhone the best protection possible. The silicon inside absorbs the shock, thereby decreasing the chances of damaging your device if it falls.

The case looks kind of ugly, and isn't the best looking case out there. But, for those who have protection up their priority lists, Tank is a worthy contendor. It gives access to all ports, and even has coverings for the headphone jack and charging port, prohibiting dust from entering. The camera cut out is also big enough, and does not distort light while clicking pictures, so you need not worry about that.

The Tank case brings in a unique feature on board - a sliding shutter to protect the screen. The shutter feels like it's made of plastic, but is very solid. It can take hammer slams, and the screen remains unharmed. Don't beleive it? Take a look at the video below:
