Mobile PC gaming using a laptop is not something that is easily recommended to everybody, for reasons such as prohibitively expensive rigs that are quite heavy to carry around and go on for only a short duration on battery power. However, recent advancements in chip design have allowed reasonably priced laptops to have decent gaming capabilities, alongside powerful rigs for the hardcore. We round-off this list with a look at what the future might hold for mobile PC gaming.
Samsung (SF511-S03) or HP Pavilion (DV6 - 6116tx)
These laptops from Samsung and HP cost between 35k and 40k, and are factory fitted with discrete graphics accelerators that have their own 1GB stash of memory. These rigs may not be able to deliver high resolution at steady frame-rates, but should be able to handle most games without much strain.
