Feeling a stabbing pain in your wrist or index finger every time you click and drag that mouse? It's called Repetitive Stress Injury, and is caused by long hours at the computer, and poorly-configured work setups. Yoga, exercises and hour-long massages at the spa might help ease the pain, but if you're a tech worker on a deadline, here are a few pragmatic tips on retooling your work setup.

  • Reduce keyboard fatigue by getting a mechanical or chicet keyboard
  • Input alternative: Use a trackball mouse.
  • Learn keyboard shortcuts.
