Keeping your desktop cool
An often ignored portion of building a new desktop is the cooling and air-flow inside the cabinet, which houses most critical and expensive components of a setup. This process starts with picking the right kind of cabinet; however, that is a discussion for another day. Today we look at some of the cooling options available for desktop computer that can help avoid the detrimental effects of over-heating of components.

Case fan(s)
Case fans are the most basic tools of keeping the cabinet within permissible temperature, and most cabinets are shipped with at least one of these. However, if the configuration involves things like multiple hard-drives and a powerful GPU, then it would require a deliberate and active air-flow system using several fans.
