Pre-orders for the the UbiSlate 7+, an upgraded version of the Aakash tablet are already sold out until February this year. Priced at just Rs. 2,999, the 7-inch tablet has a 700 MHz Cortex A8 CPU, a larger 3200 mAh battery, and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Connectivity options include built-in Wi-Fi and GPS functionality, with support for pen-drives and 3G USB modem via two USB ports.
