Dell has introduced a new entrant in its all-in-one PC line-up, the Inspiron One 2320. The standard features with all configuration of Inspiron One 2320 include a 23-inch LED-backlit screen (1920 x 1080), 2MP webcam, multi-card reader, DVD burner, wireless keyboard/mouse kit, integrated (SRS) audio processor and JBL speakers. HP Compaq 8200Hewlett Packard’s on-again, off-again relationship with the PC business continues with the announcement of a new model in the all-in-one PC category. This new model is called HP Compaq 8200 and it be powered by Intel’s processor ranging from dual-core Pentium G620 (2.6GHz) to the quad-core i7-2600S (2.80GHz). In stark contrast to the recent news coming out of Hewlett Packard, the PC vendor has released seven new models of all-in-one PCs in the US. HP’s line of Omni AIO gets two new models — the HP Omni 120 with a 20-inch display and the HP Omni 220 with 22.1-inch display. Zotac has unveiled another mini-PC, but unlike the last time, this machine is going to be fitted with AMD E-350 APU based on the AMD Fusion technology. The APU is a combination of a 1.6 GHz, dual-core central processor and an AMD Radeon HD 6310 graphics processor on a single die. The concept of All-in-One (AIO) computers may not have quite sunk into the market, but that is not stopping OEMs like Lenovo from releasing new models. It appears that among the proliferation of laptops, ‘Smart’ televisions and media centers, it hard for these devices to find a place. AIO PCs can best be described as space saving desktops with everything crammed into the screen, much like Apple’s iMac. Lenovo markets these devices under the moniker of IdeaCenter desktops and has released two models in India under the ‘Bold’ series.
