Thuderbolt logoMaking an announcement via the IDG News Service, Intel has confirmed that they will begin to roll-out fiber optic cables for Thunderbolt-touting peripherals by the end of this year. Biodegradable transistors developed at Tel Aviv UniversityResearchers at Tel Aviv University have developed flexible and biodegradable transistors using blood, milk and mucus proteins. When these proteins are applied to a base material, they self-assemble to create a semi-conducting film on a nano-scale.
