Leica’s limited edition M9 Titanium
At the recently held Photokina 2010 in Germany, Leica unveiled a limited edition of its M9 cameras, dubbed the M9 Titanium. The camera is encased in a titanium body; although, we are not sure of this is meant to provide ballistic protection against headshots, while snapping pictures in hazardous urban environment. This fingerprints resistant shell is trimmed with leather that is worthy of really expensive sport cars. Speaking of expensive, Leica has produced just 500 units of this camera, while not disclosing its price. However, rumor surrounding the price of this camera puts it in the region of 22,000 euro.
