Western Digital release USB 3.0 based 3TB hard-drives

Storage device specialists Western Digital have released a series of high-capacity, USB 3.0 based external hard-drives for Windows and Mac OSX based computers. The capacity of the drives in this series ranges from 750GB to 3TB and each of them come bundles with the company’s data backup software called WD SmatWare. 

All the drives in the series are backward compatible with USB 2.0 interface, making these drives a good further proof option for those who are yet to upgrade motherboards to USB 3.0 compatibility.
