WD 2go app enhances remote access of My Book Live drives
Western Digital has released a successor to their MioNet remote access service and it’s called WD2go. This service can be accessed via My Book Live software on the PC and WD 2go app on iOS and Android devices. WD 2go will only be available after a firmware upgrade of My Book Live device, which will permanently replace the MioNet service. In addition to adding remote access from mobile devices, the new service also introduces internet file sharing.

While the WD 2go app is available as a free download, the WD 2go Pro is selling for 2.99 American dollars on the platform’s respective app store. The pro version of the software has additions features such as file sharing, automatic synching and pass code protected remote access.
