Seagate ships GoFlex Slim drives in India
Seagate has announced the availability of its slimmest portable hard drives to date at a press conference in Mumbai today. Unveiled at CES this year, these drives are just 9mm thick, about the same thickness as a pencil. The 2.5-inch GoFlex Slim drive spins at 7200 RPM, and supports USB 3.0.

Seagate claims that these drives can be used on both Windows and Mac computers, interchangeably, without formatting or performance loss. The 320GB version retails in India at Rs. 4,500, which seems a bit pricey considering Hitachi is offering 500 GB drives at the same price range.
