Kingston Introduces Wi-Drive for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch

Kingston recently introduced an external hard drive for for iOS devices, this new Flash storage device from Kingston Digital focuses on increasing the storage capacities of your iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch and just like most things Apple, it is wireless.

 

Called the Wi-Drive, this wireless portable hard drive is battery powered, and features 16GB and 32GB of storage capacities. It supports up to three simultaneous users at one time, users can connect to the device using the free iOS app available in the App Store.

While this seems like a great device, Seagate has a similar wireless drive which includes mass storage capabilities of up to 500GB. The 16GB Wi-Drive is priced at $129.99 (5,600 INR approx) and the 32GB Wi-Drive is prices at $174.99 (7,500 INR approx). The drives are expected to hit Indian retail channels by the end of this month.
