TreeSize is a file exploration utility that displays contents and size of a directory in a tree structure, for the purpose of disk space management. This utility is compatible with Windows operating system for the PC and also with Windows Mobile 6.0 and upwards. TreeSize can be immensely useful for those who often find themselves being victims of mysteriously dwindling disk management.

The utility can be launched through the Windows Explorer’s context menu, gives an overview of a directory or drive’s contents and labels each of them with its footprint size on the disk. The Professional version of this utility has some handy features like report generation, graphical representation, NTFS compression rate management and advanced search options. The aptly named TreeSize Free can be downloaded for free, whereas TreeSize Professional’s license is on sale for $52.95.
