D-Link introduces three new portable Wi-Fi 3G routers

D-Link's new wireless routers should prove useful for business users on the move, anyone in particular who is used to carrying a few Wi-Fi dependent gadgets around. The Le Petit Mini USB Router (DWR-510), priced at Rs. 7,299 combines a 3.75G modem and Wi-Fi router in a USB dongle. The unit needs a USB port and a laptop to function, and provides download speeds of 7.2 Mbps (HSUPA) which can be shared with other devices and users.

The D-Link DWR-131, priced at Rs.4299 lets you create a Wi-Fi network out of a USB data card (backward compatible with EV-DO/CDMA/HSPA+/HSUPA/HSDPA/UMTS networks) or an ethernet port. It has a built-in 1700mAh battery.

The D-Link DIR-457U, priced at Rs.6,899 works with UMTS/HSUPA SIM cards, and bandwidth speeds of up to 7.2Mbps on a 802.11g wireless network. The devices come with one year warranty.
