Toshiba recalls T130 series of laptops due to over-heating issue

Toshiba has initiated a voluntary recall of T130 series of laptops due to a potential burn hazard. A fault has been detected in the DC adapter which is leading to overheating. In some cases, the adapter melts the area around the power-port for the laptop and as you can imagine, it can do something a lot worse if a person comes in contact with the overheated area.
Toshiba has released a BIOS (firmware) revision for the affected laptops, which will monitor the external power system and in case of potential hazard it will cut the supply off.More information on the issue and its resolution has been posted on the Toshiba support website.
