CES 2012: Lenovo ThinkPad T430u Ultrabook
While Lenovo’s IdeadPad U series of Ultrabooks appear to be targeted towards consumers, the company has designed the ThinkPad T430u keeping in mind the business class. The thickness of this Ultrabook will be just shy of one inch and it will sport an SD card reader, two USB ports, an Ethernet jack, and a full-size HDMI socket.

Just like the upcoming IdeaPad series of Ultrabooks, the Lenovo ThinkPad T430u will be powered by Intel’s next generation of processors that are better known as Ivy Bridge. Another similarity this Ultrabook shares with the IdeaPad is the option to factory fit and NVIDIA graphics accelerator. In addition to SSD storage options, Lenovo's claiming it is the only Ultrabook to be available with a 1TB hard drive. Lenovo ThinkPad T430u is expected to start shipping sometime after May with a starting price of $849 with the ability to run Windows 8.
