ASUS launches new X79 motherboards with Intel XMP certification
ASUS recently launched two new motherboards in the market and it includes the P9X79 DELUXE and the ROG Rampage IV Extreme. The company has not mentioned the availability and the pricing for both the components but we are they should be available in the market in the near future. The ASUS P9X79 DELUXE would be the first board which would include Intel’s XMP certified board which is designed for high-end gaming applications. Both offer and 8-DIMM design supporting up to 64GB of quad-channel DDR3 memory. Which means you can use, eight 4GB RAM kits.

The ASUS Rampage IV Extreme belongs to the company’s Republic of Gamers series and it is based on Intel’s X79 platform and it has achieved an RAM speed record of 2700 MHz configured with 16GB RAM at 1.65V. It offers you varied overclocking options and it sure looks like great motherboard for a high-end gaming PC.

ASUS P9X79 DELUXE
The ASUS P9X79 seems like the more expensive one as it features Intel’s Extreme Memory Profile (XPM) certification offering users 2400 MHz RAM speed. It includes improved stability and allows users to safely overclock their machines to derive more power. ASUS has mentioned that the XPM certification was achieved on the board by using Kingston HyperX quad-channel memory kits.
