Loop Mobile launches Auto Rickshaw tracking solution for Mumbai commuters

 

To enable commuters in Mumbai have a safer and convenient travel across the city, mobile service provider Loop Mobile has launched an Auto Rickshaw Tracking Solution, along with Rickshawale.com, a 24×7 auto service that allows commuters to book auto rickshaws online.

Apart from auto booking facilities, Rickshawale.com also claims to provide additional benefits such as verified drivers, regular meter fare, night pickups and drops.  To further boost its services, Loop Mobile would be bringing in a new feature wherein auto drivers would be provided with a tracking device with  Loop mobile SIM. The device provides the location of the autos to the Rickshawale call centre every 5 minutes. When commuters call up to track the location of the auto, the call centre executive checks for the auto in the particular location through a software, and then provides the customer’s address and contact details to the driver.

Commenting on the launch of this service, Mr. Surya Mahadevan, Chief Operating Officer, Loop Mobile (India) Limited said, “In a city that is largely dependent on public transport, we have tried to ease the commuter’s experience integrating technology & mobile new age solutions . This is a rightful extension of our vehicle tracking and anti-theft solution being taken to a level higher by looking at an optimal solution to ease commuters’ needs especially relevant for a city like Mumbai”

To use this auto tracking service, commuters just need to log onto Rickshawale.com or dial Loop mobile number 9664 010101. Loop Mobile subscribers can avail this service at a discounted rate of Rs 15, while other mobile subscribers need to pay an additional charge of Rs 20.
