By Aditya Kshirsagar RSS Aditya Kshirsagar posted Jul 22nd 2010 at 2:57PM | Filed under: Mobile » Tablet

Olive has become the first Indian company to launch an Android-based tablet in India. It looks pretty sleek with the 7-inch capacitive screen, the VT100 is a 3G tablet capable of voice and video calls, and runs 2.1 eclair. It runs on the Qualcomm MSM7227 processor and is Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enabled.

Specs wise, the OlivePad is definitely something most people can live with - a 7-inch screen, Qualcomm MSM7227 processor, Android 2.1. It will be priced around Rs. 22,000 to Rs. 25,000, with a 32GB internal memory card. The tablet is capable of making video and voice calls on a 3G network with its CDMA capabilities. The network on the tablet is not exclusive and will be available to all players.
