OlivePad 2 expected to launch by March end?
If you are familiar with the brand Olive Telecom then you obviously know that the manufacturer introduced its first Android tablet in the Indian market back in June last year. They also were the first to bring a Gingerbread-powered smartphone in India called the OliveSmart VS300. Now rumors suggest that the company will be announcing the OlivePad 2 around the end of this month.

According to a report on The Mobile Indian, the OlivePad 2 will be feature a 10.1-inch screen and run Android 3.0 Honeycomb with a customised user interface. If this is true, it may also be the first tablet to have a customized skin on Android Honeycomb. Sources have also revealed that the tablet will be powered by a 1GHz processor (pretty sure that it would be a Qualcomm chip), a front facing and rear camera along with the obvious Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity options. The Honeycomb tablet is expected to be priced between Rs. 30,000 and Rs. 40,000.
