Samsung India launching Galaxy Note on November 2

The much awaited Samsung Galaxy Note is finally on its way to the Indian shores - in a recent Facebook update at the Samsung Mobile India page, the Korean manufacturer has revealed that the Galaxy Note will be officially announced on November 2.

 

 

According to Samsung the idea behind the Galaxy Note is ‘freedom from multiple devices’. The company is also giving out a free device and will hold a live webcast for the launch. This is an Android 2.3 Gingerbread based device which sports a 5.3-inch Super AMOLED screen and comes with a capacitive stylus called S Pen. It is powered by a 1.4 GHz dual-core processor. There are no specifics about the actual date when the smartphone will hit the stores, neither is there any information on the pricing. We are guessing that the Galaxy Note will be available for purchase sometime mid-November.
