Nokia is disconnecting people: Ovi Files service shutting down on October 01

Nokia’s online file-syncing service which was dubbed “Ovi Files” will cease to exist from the first day of this October. This service allows users to back-up files from their Nokia phones on the Nokia servers, using the company’s Ovi Suite. Now Nokia has decided to put this service to rest without giving any specific reason for their decision. In an official statement, Nokia has advised its customers to start relying on their own computers (and perhaps good fortune) to back-up data, in the imminent absence of Nokia servers.
