HTC Evo 4G: WiMAX enabled, 4.3 inch screen, 1GHz Snapdragon, HDMI Out..

The Nexus One is no longer the top of the line Android experience phone. Launched in the US, the HTC Evo is the first WiMax/4G phone, it's the Android version of the HTC Touch HD2. Specs wise, it matches and betters Google's Nexus One phone - it has a more powerful battery, an 8-megapixel camera, and 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera. It also brings a 4.3-inch screen and a 1GHz Snapdragon processor found on the HD2, which ran on Windows Mobile 6.5. It terms of screen size, it is the largest found in an Android phone. In terms of resolution, it matches the Samsung Galaxy S, and the Nexus One with a (480x800 TFT LCD). It also has a mini-HDMI output jack with a mini-kickstand for watching videos. It's comparable to a tablet PC in many ways. Gizmodo has been gushing about it, praising the download speeds on a WiMAX network. Let's just say it: HTC's Evo 4G is the best Android phone out there. It may even be the best phone, period. Its combination of speed, size, and power mean that everyone else is officially playing catch-up.
