MWC: Compact Phone From Videocon Soon?

 

This Chinese OEM had a rather interesting/bizarre looking phone on display and we decided to shoot it on our Flip just for novelty value. At the start of the clip though, you'll hear the end of the lady's sentence that suggests they'll soon be launching this in India with Videocon mobile phones. Its a full QWERTY keyboard with a camera on the rear and it comes in Pink! I can't particularly see a target market for this kind of design beyond ladies who want something that looks "compact" - quite literally - like the compact powder kits that are carried in handbags. Who knows - maybe 'pinkberries' will be the kitty party's answer to the suits in the boardroom...
