Karbonn’s new full touch-screen, dual-SIM phone

Karbonn Mobiles, a lesser known cell phone manufacturer, has recently released a dual-SIM, full touch screen phone that has an estimated street price of Rupees 5,000. The Karbonn K1212 has a 3.2” touch screen with a maximum resolution of 320 x 400 pixels, and built-in motion sensing capabilities that can be used to control certain features of the phone. Online connectivity options include apps for Facebook, Twitter and MSN and preinstalled Opera Mini web browser. 

The phone comes fitted with a 3MP snapper with digital zoom feature and can capture images at a resolution of 2048px x 1536px. Supported audio format includes MP3, MIDI, WAV, AMR, along with support for MP4 and3GP video formats. Storage options include an internal storage capacity of 24MB and an expandable external Micro SD slot with a cap of 8GB. The Karbonn K1212’s dual-SIM functionality is restricted to only GSM networks.
