Opera 5 for Android [Review]
Opera has always been one of the best browsers on the PC, and it continues to impress with free versions for a wide number of mobile devices. The Opera 5 for Android is spectacularly fast and very convenient to use.
Opera Mini for Android is better than the default browser and having tried most of the other browsers; I felt Opera deserved a mention for an incredible job. The browsing is fast, the design is pleasant and most importantly its very user-friendly. Opera Mini Beta 5 offers an address bar and a Google search window, the page loads fast and the image quality is amazing. I checked the browser on a Wi-Fi connection so the EDGE experience might differ in regard to speed. In the program settings, you can chose to have low quality images and to improve load times. The tabs look beautiful; the placement is perfect. Adding a tab is as simple as CTRL + T on a computer just requires a finger click and there is a blank tab available!

Settings if you are on EDGE: keep the image quality low or no images and if the speed is too low then I would recommend browsing in Mobile View.

Sadly enough the low image quality setting just doesn't compare to the kind of rendering quality that can be seen on this page below:

The Mobile View of Opera is simplistic with a single column with images and text.
For me one of the most important part of a browser is CTRL + F and ENTER till I find the sentence or what I am looking for on the page. Opera Mini adapts the same feature - using the track-ball of my phone as an ENTER button.

On a desktop, I have my preferences over Opera, but Opera Mini for Android is one of the best browsers I have used on an Android platform... And most of all its a free download so pounce on it.
