m:iQ Backup Possible
This app makes a backup of your mobile data online so you don't have to endure the torment of losing your contacts, calls, calendar, photos, and messages on your phone.
m:iQ is a free application available in the Android market. This application allows you to back-up your contacts, calendar, messages, call details and access them in real-time from a website, miqlive.com. The live site is impressive because even on a 'bad' mobile day, one can have access to all the precious contacts even if the phone is lost or misplaced.
When the application starts for the first time, it creates a secure account with your Gmail id as the primary address in addition to a new username and password. Nearly all the mobile platforms are supported by this application and it is possible to extract data from a BlackBerry to restore it on an Android phone. Here's a look at the Android version of the app. If you have an EDGE connection the app automatically keeps syncing in real-time, and no data will be ever lost.
Settings: Remember privacy mode to be kept on, sync automatic and upload media only in a WiFi hot-spot. Uploading media on an edge connection can be troublesome.
You can log in to your account to get a live update of call logs - I find it helpful to access call logs on my PC and the take a quick message as a note.
Sending a message from the website.
All contacts synced.
Most of the phone operating systems are compatible with a wide range of phone manufacturers.

With m:iQ, backing up data is a cake walk.
