App of the Week: GTA III

 

 

Rockstar is celebrating the tenth anniversary of its hugely popular and influential Grand Theft Auto series by moving into mobile territory. Rockstar’s first foray onto the small screen was with GTA: Chinatown Wars, which was brilliant both technically and in design. This gives us little reason to doubt that the mobile version will be anything close to a disappointment. If you are a fan of the series, you will be glad to know that RockStar has released the game on Android 2 and iOS simultaneously.

 

On the flipside, GTA III is officially supported to run on a handful of Android phones and tablets, the list of which you can find after the break. The game is selling for Rs. 267.76 on the Android Market and for $4.99 on the iTunes Store.
