Panasonic release two home-grade HD projectors
Panasonic has released two home theatre full-HD projectors based on LCD projection technology with maximum supported resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. Out of the two, the PT-AE7000 is a 3D projector with 300,000:1 contrast ratio, brightness of 2,000 lumens and an impressive 480Hz refresh rate. This projector supports 2D to 3D conversion and uses frame sequential technology for 3D image projection. The projector’s lamp lasts for 4,000 hour in normal mode and 5,000 hour eco mode that has reduced brightness.

The PT-AR100 is the other projector released by Panasonic in India, but it does not flirt with 3D image projection. Just like the PT-AE7000, this projector can get to full HD with 1,920 x 1,080 pixel resolution with lower contrast ration of 50,000:1, but greater brightness at 2,800 lumens. It uses multiple technologies to dynamically adjust projection parameters and it also supports VIERA Link to buddy-up with the PT-AR100 remote control.

Panasonic PT-AE7000 is currently selling for Rs.250,000 and PT-AR100 is going for Rs 160,000; both backed by 2 years of warranty.
