AOC launches new TVs, all-in-one PCs and LCD monitors in India
AOC has been a pretty solid competitor in the PC LCD monitor market for some time now. The company, it seems, is looking to expand its portfolio by stepping into the TV and All-In-One PC (AIO) markets as well with a slew of new launches in India.
Nautilus TVs
AOC's stylish LCD TV series called Nautilus will be launched in 22-inch, 26-inch, 32-inch and 42-inch screen sizes. The range comes in a stylish, high-gloss piano finish with a fashionable red and black dual coloured bezel and is available in FullHD and HD-Ready formats, with a super dynamic contrast ratio of 50,000:1. Other features include Surround Sound, Real Colour Engine, USB Cinema and HDMI Input. Apparently all of the TVs come with a USB Hub present on the side, which makes it very easy for users to connect their other AV Gadgets. AOC plans to pitch in the entry-level 22-inch LCD TV at an attractive price point of approximately Rs. 13,000. The company will also be offering three months replacement warranty and an extended two-year warranty across all its LCD TVs.
M222T All-In-One PC
The AOC M222T is a stylish, super-slim touchscreen PC with the latest Intel dual-core processor. The FullHD touchscreen comes with Windows 7 Premium as the default OS, and is equipped with a 500 GB HDD, Wi-Fi, Web cam, SRS, low power, DVD and USB hubs. Available in two sizes —18.5-inch and 22-inch— AOC plans on making several variants available based on Intel or AMD processors and different hard drive capacities. The feature-loaded 22-inch touchscreen AIO is expected to be priced at approximately Rs. 50,000.
New LCD Monitors
AOC is launching four new LED Monitor series in 2010— Series 37, Series 39, Series 40 and Series 41. All four series would be available in an 'ultra thin' look, and in a range of sizes starting from 18.5 inches up to 24 inches. These monitors boast of a dynamic contrast ratio of 20,000,000: 1, a super fast response time and have special software further boosting image quality. Promoting 'AOC's Green IT' positioning of low power consumption, and zero radiation, lead free and mercury free models, all these monitors are EPEAT Gold certified. They also have built-in 'I Care sensor' technology, which automatically cuts down on monitor brightness with respect to ambient light available. All these monitors are positioned at par with regular AOC Monitors, and would be available at similar price points, the company said.
