Firefox 4 Beta out now for Android and Maemo

The good folk at Mozilla announced that the newest mobile variant of the popular Firefox browser is available for download for Android and Maemo smartphone users. Bringing a host of features to the table, the most such as pinch-to-zoom for all those hard to read web pages, Firefox Sync to sync your phone browser with your desktop browser and the Awesome Screen and Bar, “which instantly gives you access to your recent history, bookmarks and tabs” it seems to be pretty promising.
Also, Firefox 4 is based on the same technology that is used in the desktop version just optimized for mobile phones. Given that Mozilla allows developers to come up with add-ons we should see mobile versions of our favorite Firefox plug-ins soon enough serving alternative purposes as well.
Maemo and Android users can download the beta here or from the Android Market on your Android phone.
