Beyond Good and Evil re-releasing in HD next year

I never played Beyond Good and Evil back in the day but I hear it was the bomb. Or so I assume since everyone keeps raving about it. And guess what, if you’re one of those people, you’ll probably be elated to know that Ubisoft have officially confirmed an HD remake. This doesn’t strike me as particularly surprising as everyone and their grandmothers are jumping on the HD remake bandwagon.

The HD remake that’ll feature "1080p visuals with enhanced character models, new textures and a re-mastered soundtrack" will be available sometime next year for the Xbox360 and PS3 through Xbox Live and PlayStation Network respectively. And yes, it will also ship with Achievements and Trophies.
