Sony’s Next Generation Portable at GDC 2011
Sony’s future entry in the console market, tentatively dubbed Next Generation Portable, made an appearance at this year’s Game Developer’s Conference. The company reps at the conference gave live demonstrations of Uncharted, Little Deviants, and some of the handheld's “augmented reality” capabilities. Sony also let out to developers gathered at the conference that the game's cartridge capacity will be either 2GB or 4GB and they also advised that developers who are pondering to port PS3 titles to this handheld will have to simplify their models, shaders and textures to make them work. Still no word on how much NGP is going to cost, but we do have a cam-rip posted by engadget , after this break.
