Viva La Vita

BournVita: the secret of my energy

EVita

Don't forget your Vita-mins

That list can go on. Do you know how many puns and popculture refrences can be made with Vita. It's like the Wii announcement all over again, except with more mature jokes. The NGP is now officially called the PlayStation Vita. The Vita is packed with some superb tech. Starting with the 5 inch OLED screen. Touch pads at the rear as well as a front touchscreen in addition to dual thumbsticks and the usual PlayStation gamut of buttons, Sixaxis as well as Wi-fi, 3G, GPS as well as front and rear cameras. The NGP is packing some serious power in the form of a quad core ARM Cortex-A9 core  with a PowerVR SGX543MP4+ chip to push the graphics along. Yep, you read that right, quad core, as in four cores.

The Vita in the name means life and life now has a price. Sony has announced is priced at $249 for the Wi-fi and the $299 for the Wi-fi 3G. Theres a bunch of gaming features packed in, from Augmented Reality games, using both cameras, to some impressive graphics close to it's PS3 bigger brother. Control your game on the Multitouch display, rear touchpads. Not only that Sony has some great plans and games in store for the system.
