PlayStation Vita gets February release in Europe and Americas
Sony's PlayStation Vita, the handheld gaming console will launch in the North America, South America and Europe on February 22. Japan may get the console much sooner on December 17, with 26 games scheduled for day one release. PS Vita will be available in two variations, a Wi-Fi model and the other will work on 3G networks.

The suggested retail price for the Wi-Fi model has been set at $249, while the 3G version’s suggested price is $299. Sony has not committed to a launch line-up of games; however, between them and third-party publishers, there are 100 games in development for Vita. Some of these games confirmed by Sony include Sound Shapes, Resistance: Burning Skies, Uncharted Golden Abyss, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Assassin’s Creed, FIFA and Call of Duty.
