This handheld console from Sony will cost you about Rs. 8, 000 and games are typically priced between Rs. 499 and Rs. 1, 599. It has a 4.3 inch LCD screen, Wi-Fi, IrDA, Bluetooth and USN for communication and a TV out port for external displays. This console does not have any internal storage so an additional investment in a Memory Stick PRO Duo is pretty much a given. The control system follows the typical gamepad layout of four face-buttons; two should triggers, a D-pad and a single analog thumb-stick.
PlayStation Go
PlayStation Go is the successor to PSP which abandoned the UMD drive for games, in lieu of an internal 16GB flash-drive. The idea being that the games are exclusively available through PlayStation Network as downloadable content. While it is good to be rid of the noisy UMD drive, the download-only option does restrict the choice in games to a considerable degree. The PSP Go is selling in India for approximately Rs. 13, 000.
