Crysis 2 was the most pirated game of 2011

TorrentFreak has posted a list of Top 5 games where most publishers wouldn’t like to see their game listed. After aggregating data from several sources, including reports from all public BitTorrent trackers, the website has released a list of Top 5 pirated games of 2011.
The most pirated game on the PC platform was EA’s Crysis 2, netting an estimated 3,920,000 illegal downloads since its release in March, 2011. Crysis 2 was closely following by Activision’s Modern Warfare 3 and another title from EA, Battlefield 3. On Nintendo Wii, the most pirated game was Super Mario Galaxy 2 with an estimated 1,280,000, followed by Mario Sports Mix and Xenoblade Chronicles. Microsoft’s Gears of War 3 was the most pirated game on the Xbox 360 with approximately 890,000 downloads, trailed by Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3.
