Rumors about the successor to Nintendo’s hugely successful Wii console are all over the internet, with many websites anticipating an official announcement and appearance at this year’s E3. CVG  claims that Nintendo has been working on the new console under code-name of ‘Project Café’ and that its arrival is expected in late 2012.

If the information revealed through these rumors holds true, then it would mean that Nintendo has finally decided to jump on the HD graphics bandwagon. Edge  has claimed that some third-party publishers such as Electronic Arts, Activision and Ubisoft have been working on development kit of this new console for months now. Multiple sources have confirmed that the console will have motion-sensing capabilities that will surpass move in its fidelity and that the controller will be a tablet with a 6” single-touch screen, a front-facing camera, two D-pads and two or possibly four bumpers. CVG seems to have gleaned into the internal workings of the console and claim that central to the console will be a triple-core IBM PowerPC  CPU which will be supported by at least 512MB of RAM and a GPU from ATI R7000 series with shader version 4.1. This will make the graphical processing power of the Nintendo console slightly better than Xbox 360. An IGN reporter has been twitting incessantly about the new console from Nintendo and according to him the machine will be capable of streaming video onto the controller’s screen.
