Angry Birds Magic is exclusive to Nokia and will include some NFC capabilities
The Angry Birds finally come home to roost - Rovio will be exclusive bringing their latest Angry birds title – Angry Birds Magic to Nokia devices. The game is designed to use NFC capabilities on the Nokia Astound and the Nokia C7.
The free version of the game will be packed with 20 levels, 15 of which will be unlocked only via communication with another devices using NFC. While the Nokia C7 is yet to make use of its NFC chip, it is now expected that the device would get this capability with the Symbian Anna update announced with the Nokia E6 and the Nokia X7.
Rovio is still working on the full version of the game, which will include more levels, but there won’t be any new birds. Angry Birds Magic will come to the Ovi Store this year and will come pre-loaded on the Nokia C7 with the Symbian Anna update. Later this year, it would be available for Symbian^3 devices, while there is no word about its availability for upcoming WP7 Nokia devices.
