Angry Anna: Parody of Angry Birds takes a potshot at politicians
Angry Anna, a browser-based game inspired by gameplay mechanics of Rovio's Angry Birds has been trending on Twitter lately, with over 1,50,000 plays in the last 3 days, currently averaging over 8000 plays every hour. Made by Noida-based mobile dev studio Geek Mentors in less than three days, the team is also planning to release an iPhone app with ten game levels for free.
Speaking to Technoholik, Shah Nawaz, design lead at Geek Mentors said that he's pretty excited about the reception to the game on both social and mainstream media. He credits the quick development time to Gamesalad, a $499 game creation tool that lets developers author apps for the browser, iPhone, iPad and Mac App store.
Update: Siddhartha Sharma catches up with the makers of the game Angryanna, and talks with the creators of this online flash game.
