Dead Space coming to iPad this December

EA’s action packed survival horror Dead Space is headed to the iPad in all its gory glory this December. Unlike the Wii version (that’s being ported to the PS3 with Move support), the iPad version will not be an on-rails shooter. Instead it’ll be a third person shooter, just like its console counterpart and will feature the gratuitous dismemberment this series has become famous for. As far as the plot’s concerned, the details are a bit scarce but it seems the iPad version will bridge the gap between the Dead Space 1 and 2.

In case you haven’t played Dead Space till now I highly recommend doing so ASAP as it is one of the better survival horror games out there. Dead Space 2 on the other hand releases for the Xbox360, PS3 and PC by the 25th of January 2011.
