IBM turns 100 today [Video]
Today's the 100-year anniversary of IBM, and in celebration of this milestone, they've released a book titled “Making the World Work Better: The Ideas That Shaped a Century and a Company" and debuted a new film titled Wild Ducks.
An ad from 1911, when IBM was known as the Computing Tabulating Recording Corporation.
The company is credited with masterminding many of the world's leading innovations of the twentieth century, from the bar code, personal computer to the AI mastermind known as Watson. Few know that IBM was once a manufacturer of punched card machines, grocery scales, cheese slicers and time clocks. Some of the company's achievements can be seen in this documentary-film by Errol Morris.
