LG Optimus One coming this week to India?

 

Update: AndroidOS.in confirms it: the Optimus One is now retailing in India for Rs 13,500. 
Android 2.2 Froyo now finds its way this week on the Dell Streak, HTC Legend, and Samsung Galaxy S, most Android phones still run Android 2.1 or lower. Of the 6 upcoming entry-level Android phones that we profiled a while ago, the LG Optimus One has the perkiest bosom. With an HVGA screen, Froyo 2.2, and a 600 MHz processor, the Optimus One won't be leading you on with the promise of an update in Q4 of whatever. 

After selling more than a million units worldwide in less than 40 days, the phone will be making its way to India, and is rumoured to be priced at around  Rs. 13,000. We're expecting a launch announcement on November 18'th, according to sources in the Twitterverse.
