Olive launches Nexus V-R9: portable travel router on Li-Ion battery

Having a portable Mi-Fi/Wi-Fi is a very useful feature, its available on Android 2.2 Froyo and Windows Mobile phones. There's a new product launched that can do the same with your Photon/Netconnect USB data cards - keep an eye out for the Olive Nexus V-R9 travel router. This battery powered router can work out to be very useful when your primary internet or electricity is down.
We’d love to get our hands on it as the specs sheet and description is sparse, it seems like you can plug in your EDGE/EVDO/3G modem to the USB port, and get beam a 802.11 g signal that can power a network of laptops and Wi-Fi enabled gadgets. You can configure the Wi-Fi using an ethernet port. According to the specs sheet, the Nexus V-R9 has a 1700 mAh battery that gives 100 minutes of battery life. We have a specs sheet for now, Olive will be disclosing information on price and market availability sometime later next week.
