If you wanted an Android phone with a full QWERTY keypad, you've finally got one, available in India. LG tried to slip this one under the radar, folks at Androidos.in were the first to pick up on it. The GW620 is the first Android phone from LG, it sports a 3-inch, 320 x 480 pixel TFT resistive touchscreen, a 5-line QWERTY keypad, a 5-megapixel camera with face tracking and smile detection features. It also has A-GPS, so it can geo-tag your photos. Connectors include a standard 3.5 mm audio jack and a microUSB port, while wireless connectivity options on this 3G-enabled GSM phone include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0 It has 150 MB onboard memory, expandable to 32GB via MicroSD.

The standard Android user experience is augmented by LG's S-Class UI and a SNS (social networking services) manager that integrates to Facebook and Twitter. While it will give you access to the Android market, with version 1.5 Cupcake on it, we aren't sure which apps will, or won't run on it. Priced at Rs 18,990 it's a mid-range Android phone, and will compete with the HTC Tattoo and the Samsung Spica.

Update: Tech2 has a review that praises the camera, keyboard, and battery life, but deducts points for poor music and video playback.
