Avatar’s 3D Blu-ray will launch as Panasonic timed-exclusive

Panasonic has confirmed speculations that the upcoming 3D Blu-ray of Avatar will be exclusively available bundle offers with the company’s hardware. The Blu-ray of the blockbuster movie may be bundled with Panasonic 3D-ready television, Blu-ray players or other accessories. There is also talk of somehow letting existing Panasonic owners get their hands on the movie’s 3D release. It seems like none of this is set in stone yet, as representatives from the company declined to confirm any specifics of this timed-exclusive deal. More details should surface ahead of the Blu-ray’s scheduled launch in December this year.
