HP announce the Mini 210 and Mini 5103 netbooks with dual-core Atom power

Hewlett-Packard has introduced two new netbooks in the US markets—the Mini 210 with HD playback capabilities, and the Mini 5103 with more efficient battery consumption.
The Mini 5103 will be equipped with an Intel’s dual-core 1.5GHz Atom processor which, HP claims, will improve the devices performance by 20 percent with little additional power consumption. The netbook, which is expected to retail at USD 399, comes with a fresh paintjob and HP's Day Starter instant-on OS. The Mini 5103 is designed for the working class and as such it is very prim and basic, with emphasis on functionality.HP’s Mini 210 appears to be targeting home-users with its choice of colours and the optional Broadcom Crystal HD processor which allows full-HD playback. Netbooks in this series is expected to start at USD 330 with single-core processor and a dual-core version will also be available with a slightly higher price-tag.
