Linksys E4200: Stylish dual-band wireless router now in India

Cisco announced the retail availability of the Linksys E4200 today, this sleek wireless router is well suited for home use scenarios like HD video streaming, voice and video calls, network-enabled TVs and game consoles.
The E4200 comes with SpeedBoost technology, which provides additional range, using walls to amplify the signal. Designed in Denmark and California, the router is not just good looking, it incorporates six antennas in the body, delivering up to 450Mbps on the 5GHz radio band, and 300 Mbps on the 2.4 Ghz band.
On the back you get four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, and a WAN port, the router prioritises voice and video data for smooth voice and video calls, and has built-in FTP and UPNP media server functionality. Easy setup and parental controls round up some of the highlights of this router. Priced at an MOP of Rs. 9,000, the E4200 will be available in over 2000 stores across India, including in large format retailers like Reliance Digital, Croma, Staples, and Hypercity.
