Apple beats HP in global PC shipmentsApple has surpassed HP in the global PC shipments, according to a recent report from market research firm Canalys. The report, which took into account desktops, laptops, netbooks, and tablet PCs, points out that Apple shipped more than 15 million iPad tablets and 5 million Mac (laptops and desktops) in the fourth quarter, taking 17 percent share of the total 120 million client PCs shipped worldwide.
