Skyrim: First 50 Hours
It’s been little over a week since we got our hands on Skyrim, the fifth installment in The Elder Scrolls series from Bethesda. We are not quite ready to give our final verdict on the game, mainly for two reasons. As expected from the series, even after having spent close to fifty hours with Skyrim, there is still quite a bit left to explore and pursue. Secondly, the game was shipped with more than its fair share of bugs and glitches and Bethesda has promised a comprehensive patch to address significant number of these issues. In the meanwhile, here are some highlights from the game so far.

First Look: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is finally out. The massive open-world medieval combat game features dragons and over 100 hours of playtime. You play as Dhovakin, a dragon born, one of the only people who can stand against the might of the dragon invasion on Skyrim. We did a bit of photography in our first few hours of gametime, just to show you how good it looks.

November is traditionally that time of the year in the gaming business when the big-label publishers release their strongest contenders. As a consequence, it is also the months of sequels, as few publishers are brave enough to release a game based on a brand new IP. This year, Bethesda Softworks is releasing the fifth installment in its flagship Elder Scrolls series, Electronic Arts is having yet another go at Need for Speed, THQ is releasing Saints Row: The Third, Ubisoft has Assassin’s Creed Revelations coming out and finally it’s also time for another installment in the hugely popular Call of Duty series.
